Professional Technician
The service technician was very pleasant and professional. He told was that our Home Warranty may not cover the repair seeing how it should be covered by the manufacturer warranty. After he left we called GE who said the 5 year warranty was only applicable to GE Profile refrigerators of which ours isn't.

Fridge repair
After working with the on-line in-person chat people for 6 months, and working on the fridge the way they instructed, they finally sent a mechanic who diagnosed a quite different problem than the on-line people. Apparently, the fridge doors were not properly adjusted when the fridge was installed, and, consequently, the seal wasn't working. The in-person tech quickly diagnosed and fixed.
